NWR - Henna?

I was just wondering, have any of you ladies ever used Henna? I'm a brunette and I have never colored my hair before and I have some incoming gray hairs and I was told that instead of dying your hair you can use Henna and it doesn't damage it.

Does anyone have any further info. on this? I want to do it, but I'm kind of hesitate...

My mom tried this recently because shes wants to try something different than dye because she thinks the chemicals are bad for her. Anyway yes Henna will take out the gray but the gray hairs will have a more reddish tone to them.
