NWR: Here’s a story - what do you think/how do you feel about this? warning LONG

OK this has nothing to do with me just posing a question. Background info. A boy and a girl go out for 4 years the boy cheats on the girl with a girl he always liked but they never were able to get together so the just decided to screw everyone and give things a try to see how it goes. Well they boy and the new girl become a couple and him and the first girl break up. He always kept a connection with the first girl either by speaking or seeing each other here or there and you could always tell there was flirting going on. Eventually after a year or so of this happening they ended up fooling around again (yes he was still with the new girl). After a couple of years of this happening the boy tells the original girl the new girl is pregnant and they are getting married. The original girl was a little sad but not really because she new she would never want him back “that way”. The last time the boy and original girl spoke at all was about 5 years ago. Recently the boy posted a message on her myspace page. After a few messages back and forth, he says maybe we could get together and catch up. Keep in mind he is still married to the new girl and has 2 kids. The original girl says yea why not (she isn’t with anyone and isn’t a problem because there isn’t much interest because he is no longer what she is looking for in a guy so no danger of old feelings-so she thinks) so she gives him her cell #. Well he calls her and they talk for over ½ hour and it was just like old times!!!!! CRAZY!

Now my question to you is what do you think of this or how would you feel if you found out your FH or DH did this? I think this guy and original girl will always have a connection, they keep finding their way back into each others lives. I don’t want my friend getting hurt by him (she is the original girl). It seems since him every guy she finds is either in a relationship, or married already to someone else or something shady!

Sorry this I so long.

It is hard to break a connection you have with someone,, IF it is that strong. But if he is married with kids.. he should STOP and know better. If i was his current wife i would be so angry and hurt.

Agreed! Plus the same goes for her. If she knows he is with someone and think if they see one another things might get OOC (hook up or even kiss) I think it shows lack of characture on both parts. I would say myspace messages are fine but thats it. JMO

Well, since he cheated on the first girlfriend with the now-wife, the now-wife shouldnt be surprised if he decides to cheat again.

And why would your friend want to be with someone who is so obviously a cheater?

Agreed. The message was fine but giving the cell phone number and meeting up is asking for trouble.

i think the guy is an a-hole sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it too....i think the smart thing for your friend to do is stay away from him - but it is hard when you do feel like you have a 'connection' with somebody....

if i was the new girl/wife id be very hurt

I watched the movie 'why did I get married' they make a point of saying that your current partner may have 80% of what you 'need' and then some other person may have 20% of what you 'need'. So you think that makes you whole.. untill you LOSE your partner and 80% of your self and left with 20%

Not a good deal

tell your friend to stay away from him. She doesn't want to get her feelings hurt, even though she may think there is no feelings left. The guy is a DOG, I completely feel bad for his wife. There is no need for any man to keep such a connection with someone he shared a past with.

I would stay far far away from this guy . He cheated on her , then married and had two kids with the girl . Why would she give him the time of day, connection or no connection.

I have three ex'es who cheated and I don't talk to any of them because of it, and one was a 5 year relationship that we had that ' connection' with .

Your friend should save herself from old drama and not even bother with this turd.

I think when you love someone, there is always going to be a connection there. Their are some people you just click with. With that said, I don't talk to my ex's for that reason. There's always history and that thought of 'what if' so I just stay away. I would say your friend should just stay away from that guy. I wouldn't want my man talking to an old flame and hanging out.

IDK why, but stories like this really bother me...
Your friend should move on with her life... There are plenty of single men out there to be with. What I don't understand is why is she still interested in reconnecting with him after he cheated on her?? If I were her I'd be like 'F OFF, Don't call/email me!' She must be very insecure if all the men she finds are married or in a relationship. It really makes me sad when women feel like they should settle for being number two in a man's life. I would sit your friend down and explain to her that what she is doing is wrong on so many levels. Think of the two children involved!!!
