NWR: Hi ladies...HELP

So I have to give in my resignation letter and speak with my boss before the day is over and I don't know how to do it yet UGGH this is killing me I LOVE MY JOB but it wasn't paying me what i really needed!! I've been in meetings basically all day and now I am going on my 3rd one so I feel lis not the right time, now i am taking a little break in the office and she's here but I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY...


So...should i wait til the day is over and talk to her or fk it and do it now?

Did you get another job? just tell her that you recieved an offer from another company and you are going to take it... thats what I said to my previous employers... they might come back with you and offer you more money if you do that...

I would do it now... get it over with

When I left my last office, I politely knocked on the door, asked my manager if she had a minute, handed her my notice and said 'I'm giving you my two weeks.'

I was upset to be leaving b/c I LOVED the people I worked with, but I had to b/c the company was going bankrupt and I hated what I was doing.

just tell your boss you are giving your 2 weeks. u were offered a better paying position and you couldnt say no.

believe me, if they were in your shoes, they would do the same. They understand. Money is money..and you need to worry about yourself and your future. who cares about peoples feelings. these ppl are not your friends. and you dont go to work every morning because you like them.. u work to make money. remember that.

ITA with everyone. Do it now. If I was an employer and you waited to the end of the day, I'd wonder why you didn't say anything sooner....Good Luck!

sorry she didnt take it well... but at least its done now...
