It is pretty packed-most people will be going the other way though-
the walk won't be that bad.

The walk shouldnt be that bad. Its about 5 avenues which is a mile and its downhill. You could also get a cab. Penn Station however is another story!

It depends on what time you are going in... I think it is going to be very very packed! The walk to 3rd Ave will probably take you around 20 - 30 minutes.

It won't be as bad as if you had to head to LI at that time. Most people will be heading in the opposite direction so I think you will be okay. Have fun! And bundle up for the walk.

The walk isn't that bad. It will be pretty crowded but if you are with other people, try to make it fun. Have a good time!

It should be about a 30 minute walk I think. The taxis are so expensive now though - since you're in the same 'zone' it should be $10 per person, but DH and I went into a another zone and we paid $15 per person ($30!!) for a ride that usually costs no more than $10. I certainly wasn't going to walk 30+ blocks and 5+ avenues though, so I didn't really have a choice!
