Hey ladies FH and I found a place we love and we're trying to do an inspection ASAP. Do any of you have a good recommendation?

NWR - Home Inspection
We went with HouseMaster. They were very thorough, and were very honest about what was/wasn't great about the house. They were fairly priced also.
ETA - It's worth it to pay the extra for the termite inspection.

We used Home Inspection Associates in Great Neck. The owner was very nice, and very thorough, and had a great personality when dealing with us and the sellers, especially since the sellers kept trying to explain why such and such wasn't done. He explained why some things had to be taken care of, and the sellers agreed that day to do all of them.
He came recommended by our broker who is a family friend, and actually several of FH's patients. IDK the going rate for home inspections, but I think we paid him $500 or a little under, and that came with a termite inspection.
Edited: I checked my email and we paid $485. He also scans and emails you his report for your records and mails you the hard copy very quickly. Good luck!
