NWR: Horrible Smell!!!!

NWR: Horrible Smell!!!!

I am at a loss here.....

Last night a horrible smell that smells like cat pee is in OUR BEDROOM!

We do not own at cat nor does anyone of our neighbors, that we know of.

Anyways, I went and put bleach around the window, I cleaned around the inside of the window and it still smells! We havea basement apartment so it is ground level. The smell will not leave the bedroom~!!!!!!!

I put Lysol on the carpet and cleaned the furniture around the room.

Anyone have home remedies or a solution on how to get rid of the SMELL!!!!!!

Any cat owners????

HELP!!!!!!!

maybe a cat sprayed outside near your window, try a spray bottle of bleach water and spray the hell out of the wall... wait till night so people dont look at you weird.... lol hope it gets better

Check behind all of your furniture - could you have a leak somewhere and not realize it?

Mold/mildew can smell really bad if it goes for a long time without being cleaned.....

To help the air, put a dryer sheet on the back side of a fan, as the fan draws in air, it will spread some of the dryer sheet smell around.

there is a very good chance a cat sprayed outside your window, or on your window to mark it's territory.
My brother lived in a basement apartment and it happened to them.
It is a b*tch to get the smell out.

First spray EVERYTHING outside by your window with bleach.
The next day go and spray with vinegar.
You may want to go to the pet store and get the stuff that you can use in your house so that your pets don't mark the house... it's in a little bottle... and put that out by your window.

good luck!! sorry i have no suggestions for ya but i feel your pain...a few months ago FH's landlord kept their cat in the bathroom bc it was sick and the pee smell went thru the vents and stunk up his apt. sooo bad...hope some of these suggestions work!!

I'm sorry you have cat smells, it must be outside since you don't have cats. Try the bleach or that urine-gone stuff from tv- I think ACE has it.

Am I the only one sitting here singing...SMELLY CAT, SMELLY CAT- IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT....LOL
