NWR: House vent

How does anyone afford a house???? I don't see how we are ever going to be able to buy a house. The numbers are depressing me. We are considering moving to NJ since we will get more for our money and actually get property! (We live in Queens) I think most parts that are close to NY will be just as much though. I'll miss being close to family too.

It succccccccckkkkkkks. I don't get how people buy houses around here!! And the prices are all down now too.

Just needed to get that out!

have you looked into first time home buyer classes offered by the county? That's what we did..plus soon there should be county first time home buyer down payment assistance applications..
if we didn't do that stuff..we would have no house. it suucks

We are young too, but we want to have a family asap. Ideally, we'd love a house. He was raised and grew up in an apt in Queens, and if we have to do it we will, but would love a backyard...
