Today is my grandma's 79th birthday so I called to wish her a happy birthday and she tells me she has a new man in her life. She met him at the senior center and have been talking on the phone and he is taking her out to a lunch date on Monday. Isn't this just the cutest thing ever! I am so happy for her. I hope it works out. My grandfather past away over 5 years ago and she has been so lonely.

That's so funny. I spoke to my Grandma last month and she told me that one day when she was getting ready to go out one of the men in her neighborhood came up to her door and asked her to go to brunch. I was floored, Grandma's rock!!!!

My great grandmother met her love at the age of 80 in her nursing home. They got married at the Nursing Home, in their jammies, with pretty flowers in her hair.
A local newspaper did a write up on it, and it was published in a paper with the cutest picture of them kissing.
He passed away a few months later, and she a few months after that, but they were so happy...

Ok, my grandmother's sister in law - her husband died many years ago - has been seeing a man for about 10 years.
She's 85 and he's 95!!
They just got married a week or 2 before Christmas and are sharing an apartment at a retirment home for the rest of their days!!!
How great is that?!
