NWR: How do I pack perfume?

I havn't flown since they made the law that you can't carry liquids on a plane, so I'm wondering how I can bring my perfume? I usually put it in my carry-on, I 'm wondering if it's safe to wrap w/ tissue paper & put in the center of my luggage... I'm nervous that it'll break & I'll reik of CoCo-Madamoselle How do you pack your perfume?

Im not sure but you could probably call the airline and they will tell you

I bubble wrap, or wrap in tissue and then put it in a ziplock

You probably have to check it...I usually carry on too, but my last trip I checked it and I just put it in a waterproof case and left it with my toiletries...it can explode just like shampoo can, but it would stink because of the scent. Good luck!

Thanks Depending on my Doctors appointment, tommorow, FH & I leave for West Palm Beach Friday , then our cruise on Monday

I usually just put it in a zip lock bag and put it in the middle of my suitcase in between clothes, so it has that cushion. I've never had a problem.

Definitly dont put it in your carry on. My aunt works for security at Macarthur and she says every day they throw out garbage cans full of liquids. I put mine in a ziplock bag and put it in the middle of my luggage. And wrap a shirt or something around it so it doesn't fall down to the bottom.

I usually bring a small bottle(one of those trial sizes they sell in packs) they don't break that easily, and i put it in a hygiene bag in my suitcase..never had a problem! bubble wrap might be a good idea too!

i fly about two times a month for work and liquids (such as perfume) go as follows -

for carry ons - must be less than 3 ounces and in a clear, ziplock bag. if its in carry on, you dont really need cushioning for a perfume bottle, just be careful not to drop your bag

if you pack it in checked, pack how you normally would - in a toilettries bag etc. there are no restrictions for checked (as long as it isnt a bomb or bomb materials )

so in review, you can bring any liquids in carryon as long as they are less than 3 ounces and are in a clear plastic bag. otherwise, check away!!

and enjoy the cruise - i wish i were going!

You can def bring perfume, I put it in a bag or wrap bubble foam around it and pack it in my suitcase and it always makes it in one piece or you can wrap it in a towel
