So, we sent in our taxes about a week and a half before the due date. We're suppose to be getting a pretty big refund which we could REALLY use right now for the wedding and HM. Does anyone know in general how long it takes to get your refunds back?

direct deposit is 8-15 days, mailed takes longer. It may also take longer to process because it was mailed and not e-filed. If you go onto the IRS website, there is a way to check the status of your refund, when it will be mailed or when it will deposited into your bank account.

I'm presuming you didn't file online- that was FAST. I was shocked how fast it came.

Yeah I would say about 6 weeks if you mailed it in...maybe even sooner cuz of direct deposit. I hope for your sake!
