NWR-How much does it cost to

dry clean a king sized down comforter?? I have to do it but I am worried of the $$$$$! Did anyone you just wash it yourselves? tia

I've washed mine.... It comes out ok. Maybe you could use those Dryel bags.

Hmmm. I would think around $30. Why dont you call a local dry cleaners? Price them out

I've spent anywhere between $25-30 at the dry cleaner.

also try a local laudary mat. They may be a bit cheaper (still dryed cleaned though)

I brought my down to the regular laudromat and they charged me $8 and it was done in an hour

I think it cost us like $40 something. Of course, the fact that my cat PEED on it probably added a little extra $$ to the bill.

we launder ours they charge us $30.00 becare full they just charged me $15.00 for a king size mattress mad

I was under the impression that anything with 'down' in it shouldn't be drycleaned. I was always told that after you wash it, you should put it in the dryer with some tennis balls, sneakers or anything that has weight so that it can beat/fluff the feathers up as the item is drying so the item won't be flat once it is removed. I did this to my daughter's down coat last winter and it came out fine.

Wash it, and then dry it with tennis balls... It will be totally fine, I used to do it all the time...

I get mine dry cleaned $25. I would prefer to do it that way so that it stays in best condition....Its not the cheapest comforter, and I want to keep it as perfect as possible - It has totally changed my life....I will never go back to a regular comforter!!
