NWR: How should I bake chicken breasts?

I checked the recipe board but it hasn't been active since December so I am asking here...

I want to bake chicken breasts tonight for dinner with a glaze I bought from a food tasting party (it's similar to bbq sauce). I was going to put the uncooked breasts in a baking dish with the glaze on top but what should I do to keep the chicken from drying out? TIA.

Usually a little olive oil or some water in the bottom of the pan should do the trick.

I typically cover them (top and bottom) put the oven on 350 degrees - and cook them for 45min - 1 hour - every 15 minutes I flip them so they dont sit too long in one direction - Depending on the thickness - I would put them on slightly longer - I always cook them in a glass pyrex Good Luck

let them marinate in the sauce for a few hrs in a ziplock bag..and bake them in the oven..

or u can put them in a pan (cooking spray) cook them, thenpour the glaze over 2-3 min b4 they are done. make sure u slice the breasts diagonally b4 u put them on the pan so they are soft.. and u can tell when they are cooked when theres texture in the middle lol

Cook them in tin foil! It will lock the moisture in .

to keep them moist you can wrap each filet in foil and baste it on there. Fold it like a packet and bake it on 350 for about 25-30 minutes. Make sure to spray the foil with some pam before you fold the chicken into it

eta: or you can cover your whole baking dish in foil

Everyone is so fancy with the strategies! I'd be like Well they'll just have to be dry!
