I have the WORST hang over today, Dear Red wine- why do you do this EVERY time?
Can anyone cure me? All I want to do is throw upppp ugh not so much fun while at work.

edited to add: the other thing that works for me sometimes when i am hungover is to eat something greasy. for some reason the greasy food soaks up some of the alcohol.

I know they say to eat something bland like crackers or something...
but when I have a hangover this is what I do:
I know it's gross, but I just make myself throw up. That way it's all out.
Then I eat something really fatty and drink coffee & water, and all is cured.

Get something bready and/or fried in your belly...preferably both, like fried egg and cheese on a roll. Gatorade. Then pop a couple of Advil and drink water. You'll feel improvement in an hour or two.

Something greasy always works for me, Chinese food specifically and Club Soda!! Feel better!!!

please don't laugh... this REALLY WORKS.
cut a lemon into quarters and place one quarter under each armpit.. leave it for a little while. you can use a lime, orange, etc (basically any citrus fruit).
Don't ask HOW it works.. something about the citric acid and your pores.
I had the absolute WORST hangover EVER... I should have been in the hospital, but for whatever reason no one wanted to take me. but I tried the lemon thing.. and it worked.

Oh, and eat something hearty and greasy...pizza and club soda always works for me!!

I just read that asparagus is awesome for hangovers!
I got this from the 'Eat This, Not That E-Newsletter:'
Forget about the 'hangover helper' pills you see at the corner store checkout. If you really want to sidestep a grisly morning-after, eat some asparagus, say South Korean researchers. When they exposed a group of human liver cells to asparagus extract, it suppressed free radicals and more than doubled the activity of two enzymes that metabolize alcohol. Translation: Asparagus can help you sober up faster (and if you toss it in olive oil and broil it for a few minutes, it won't taste half bad, either).

I don't know...if I'm hungover I think the last thing I'd want to do is slice up citrus fruit and stick it in my pits. It would just be a sticky mess. Also sounds like it's more of a psychological thing...placebo effect.
Hangovers are the perfect excuse to eat greasy food, IMO.

Have a beer- Im not kidding it works!!!!!! otherwise advial, water, sleep& eat somthing!!!!!!!!!
I've read and heard that )It's weird).. but one of the best things for a hangover is more alcohol.
Something in the morning like a Bloody Mary helps. I forget the reason.. something about having a LITTLE alcohol the next morning helps. Don't go crazy.. just a glass that you nurse.
I just drink tons of water/gatorade to try and flush my system and eat toast.
