thanksss it was actually today and it went wellll but not sure what will happen. Its for a greattttttttt company butttt it wont lead to a perm job after I graduate law school and would only be for about a yr until I graduate. he told me if I dont have anything lined up for summer that could lead to something perm then I should think about working with them. I am waiting to hear from another law firm by next week... if I could get a job there then Ill just say no to the company. Ugh this market suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!

I wish you lots of luck! I know exactly what you are going through.. hopefully you can get your foot in the door.
I currently work for a law firm here on the island . Im salaried FT but the pay isn't exactly fantastic because the market is sooo flooded. Especially in the legal field as of late.

ooo are you in law school?? or interested in paralegal work??

Not in law school yet..finishing up my bachelors currently at stony brook. Nevertheless, yes would like to get a JD eventually.Of course if I had my way I'd be a entertainment/copyright atty.

currently doing personal injury.
Got lucky with the job as I had no prior legal experience but I think the fact that I'm bilingual probably got me the initial 'in'

I wish you the best of luck though... have you considered looking at NYC positions?
