NWR: Hurricane Sandy

Its 3pm and I just realized 6 months ago was Hurricane Sandy. FH and I were living together and we lost our home and everything it in on this day. We just moved in together in Jan of 2012... 6 months seems like a really long time but I can remember the entire day as if it happened yesterday....
Coincidentally... we just got our 'official' closing date for our condo. Funny how things happen.... but a super strange feeling knowing that Sandy took our home 6 months ago today and today we found out we will be getting our new home.

:( can't believe it's already been 6 months. Our town was hit hard and we still see people cleaning up th damage! But yay for your new home!

I'm the opposite, I can't believe its only been 6 months, I feel like it was ages ago. We lost everything too, and So I had to move in with my FH (boyfriend a the time) and then he proposed. So much changed so it feels like a lifetime away.

Thank goodness we're all good now, and It is great news to hear you will have a new home soon! Very Exciting and perfecting timing I think!
