NWR: I am going to kill my sister!!!!!

I only live home part of the week and part of the week with FH. My sister is 14 and a freshman in high school. When I came home today I noticed food out all over the kitchen and a jug of iced tea that is still cold. Walking upstairs I saw the bathroom door open (it is always closed because of our puppy). There was hair dye all over the shower curtain, the towels and the rug. Downstairs I looked on my sister's camera and there are pictures of her with black hair! So, she cut school, messed up the entire house, dyed her hair black and then took her school bag and left again!!! Is she kidding me?

Hey, when shiit like that happened with my sisters, I always repeated in my head 'not my problem, not my problem'.

Younger sisters can be a pain... I have 2 of them.

Yes, I know it's not my problem but my father lets her get away with everything. Her mother passed when she was 7 and my father is remarried, but he never punishes her for anything. It makes me so angry because she walks all over him.

I just don't get how she thinks it's ok to cut so blatantly and mess up the entire house.

Overall she is a good kid. I just worry about her.

because she is 14 and teenagers are supposed to mess up and do stupid things its the cycle of life.

At 14 i bleached my hair, i also dyed it purple, and a bunch of other colors, i pierced my nose and hid it from my parents.

She wanted dark hair bc probably its the cool thing to do now, i see alot of girls with raven black hair. Is it right to cut school and leave a mess? No its not but it sounds like typical teenage behavior, and shes just going through a phase.

Since her mother died at a young age, maybe she needs another female role model in her life. Maybe taking her out for a bite to eat or something. She obviously is rebeling and screaming out for attention and at a very confusing time for any young lady not to have her mother around is hard.

Her and I always do things together and are very close. She constantly tries to talk to and get my father's attention. I think we all just need to talk.

yeah maybe its best that you talk to your dad and let him know how he needs to discipline her. Some kids get the idea that their parents dont care if they let them do whatever. Also maybe they can spend quality time together since you say she is always trying to get his attention and talk to him, its something she really needs in her life right now.

And dont worry about her, she is not doing anything on purpose, a teenager has a one track mind and all she thought about at that moment was 'I WANT BLACK HAIR' everything else went right out the window.

I only hope I wasn't that bad at 14.. my grandmother would have had a handful with me.

I am more annoyed that she got the dye all over the new towels and shower curtain I just bought. Also, that she cut out of school and did not even bother to cover up her tracks because she doesn't care.
