I just found out I got a kindergarten position for next year! I'm so excited! 10 days before my wedding...this news couldn't be any better. Just had to share :)

Unfortunetly just as everything else in this world you really have to know someone to get your foot in the door with an interview. I attended Hofstra for my second Masters and they had a recruiting day where you dropped off resumes at the career center and then Hofstra did a mailing. (Better than you doing one because I think they actually look at your resume.) Once they received them the districts contacted you followed by an on campus interviewing day at Hofstra. This worked really well for me. Had many contacts so you can try this. Other than that keep checking the NY Times. Lot's of things happen last minute during the summer. Good Luck!
