Im loving Big Mike and I loved the way he turned to his wife and blew her a kiss at the end!!! I was so happy to see she was able to make it there since she just had a baby!!

Totally agree! That is exactly the way he was when we met with them a bunch of times for booking, such a sweetheart and authentic. Here's to hoping the AI Tour is at Nassau Coliseum Aug 20th, so he can still make my wedding on the 21st. Wishful thinking I know, but his name is on our contract!

I am confused about Big Mike- On the American Idol page they say he is from St. Petersburg Fl. How is from Fl and is in a band here?

I think he grew up in FL went to HS & College there..and now lives here.
Oh wow so for the bride that booked him for her wedding I wonder what they are going to do about that....

He grew up in FL and still has family there, he tried out in Orlando. But he lives in Astoria and has been in East Coast for some time, so maybe moved to NY to get his big break?
The bandleader hasn't said anything official yet about our wedding. He's been in touch about big mike's performances and what not. I think it was a wait and see how far he goes. They have been playing with someone else the past month or so, I'm assuming he'll be the replacement if AI takes over his life. I'm totally voting for him and this point (and will invite him as a wedding guest)!!
