NWR: I need

You guys to cheer me up! Final decision came through and they can't afford to promote me! I am so crushed right now and crying and I am trying to hide it but I am devestated!

* I didn't get fired but there is no moving up it's just staying in one place.

OMG Colleen I was not expecting to hear that. Honestly things happen for a reason. Maybe theirs something waiting for you somewhere else.

wipe your tears, pick your head up and stay strong. it's just not the right time. it will happen eventually. just keep working hard! and if they don't appreciate your hard work after a while go somewhere that does.

Neither was I but apparently if I getpromoted they have to promote the other designer and they can't afford it

re: the concert: you will feel different once you are there.

re: work: what about exploring your options? seeing what else is out there, new opportunities. sounds like you have much more to offer!
