I need a new hair salon to go to. I love the girl that does my hair now but the prices are getting a little out of control and I really need to start saving where I can. I'm looking for someone that does nice highlights and a cut. Suffolk preferably. Any recs? TIA!

I love JP at Self Image Salon in Amityville. I was a little worried getting hi-lites, but she makes them look so natural.

Not in Suffolk, but my girl at Palace Hair Designs, Cathy, in Franklin Square does AMAZING highlights. I get my hair washed cut, highlighted and blown for $85 plus tip. Whole head. Prices there can't be beat.
The salon is a little no frills, but my hair always comes out awesome. I even got compliments on my color from strangers in a gay bar in the village.

Idk how far east you are in Suffolk, but Bellisimo in Oakdale is awesome!!! Very reasonable prices..check them out!

Farrell & Co Hair in Islip Terrace.. I've been going there for years and my hair is always cut perfectly. I always get compliments on both the color and the cut because it's done so evenly and the color looks so natural.
Good luck! Finding the right hair salon at the right price is not easy!
