And its not just any b-day-> Its the big 3-0. And he is taking it bad. So I wanted to do something special for him. I've done some cool gifts (racecar driving for example) but I just feel like he deserves something cool, something unexpected. I buy him clothes on the regular, so thats out of the question... HELP!!!??? I am open to any and all suggestions...

Well Vegas is out bc he would kill me for spending money like that, although originally that what we had planned. AC is out bc thats where the b-parties will be and knowing him he would be bored too b/c he doesn't really gamble (another reason why vegas would have been hard...) The watch I was keeping for closer to the wedding. I would love to take him away, but the thing is there has to be something for him to do. He gets very antsy...
I'm gonna rip my hair out. Do you know i have been pondering for 3 days straight...

Aren't you throwing him a surprise party? I think that is a gift enough! He will probably love it sooo much, so besides that maybe you can just focus on something smaller and unexpected.
Does he play golf? I bought FH golf lessons one XMas and he loved the gift. He was planning on taking them that summer so it was cool that I bought it for him.

The party thingy is something his friends and I are doing. I just wanted to do something on the side. bc he always does ALOT for me. Like today, he is getting my car fixed bc some dbag dropped something on my hood and left a huge dent, and Bc I was so upset he is having it fixed and handled the whole thing. And he frequently gets me little gifts too. But the thing is, I wanted to get him something not so much as a bday gift but as a thank you for taking care of me, because he really does.

Hmm I know how you feel. I felt the same way just few months ago when I had to come up with a gift for my FH 30 b-day. I bought him a bike. He bikes everyday after work and he loves it. hmm other sugestions maybe a side by side massage..watch...

for my FH's 30th, i got him jerry seinfeld tickets at foxwoods casino on november 21st. we will then spend the day at the casino, and invite all of his friends that live in the area. i think a mini trip like that might be fun!

Quick update! I got us a room at the MGM grand at foxwoods. Since I couldn't do vegas, this was less money, I got a freakin AMAZING deal and its a weekend to ourselves. Thanks for the help my loves! I made this cheesy little book thingy that I am going to wrap up and give him on his bday with all the stuff we can do. Its not vegas, but its the next best thing!!
