My sister (and MOH) is pregnant with twins on bed rest. I want to have a very small shower at her house but I don't know if it's okay to send invitations on-line (like evite) AND also to the people who we can't invite, (because it's small), do I send announcements of where she is registered??? My mother thinks this is okay but I am really torn....She is also due in about four weeks so I have to hurry!! Sorry so long, TIA!!

actually, i'd go buy something simple from hallmark and send real ones and then just call everyone letting them know about it also. announcing where she's registered might sound like begging a little...i'd wait on that but offer it up to anyone who asks!

So I should rely on people's word of mouth right? I think so too, only my family seems to a little word-of-mouth challenged..Thanks for the advice.

I would send a 'real' one. Then send reminder on emails. You can give them the option to reply by email. That would be faster.
