NWR: I want to kill FH

So after 5 days of writing a 16 page research paper FH deleted it off my computer. ITS GONE I went to a computer specialist to try to find it and he said it is nowhere to be found. I have no idea what he did but now he is out watching our GM's last show for his band and I am home crying and trying to retype my paper from scratch. UGH I forgot to mention I struggle with writing research papers which is why it took me so long to begin with.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry that this happened to you!! I would be upset myself.....deep breaths and try to take it easy....you poor thing....good luck writing the paper over again

Aww-Suzanne, that's awful! Why did Chris delete it? I agree with theabove posters that once you start writing it will come back to you. Try to relax so you can remember everything.

My DH says if you do a search on google for recovering deleted files, there are programs that will search deep in your harddrive for files. A harddrive stores even deleted files for a while and with the right program you can recover them. The catch is that if it is corrupted in the deletion process, you will not be able to recover it. He says its about 70/30 that it will be usable. He deleted a bunch of music once and recovered a good portion of it this way. Good luck!!

Omgggggg I would be hysterically crying too. Ughhh I feel your pain, this happened to me last year when I was on my LAST paragraph my comp. freaked out and shut down and I lost everything.
