I'm considering buying an iPod Touch for my son. Is there a monthly charge for internet access? How does it work exactly? Does it appear on my phone bill?

lol- i am pretty clueless too... but we have one and it accesses our internet through the router in the house- so no charge at all.

FH has ipod touch..no charges for anything...he uses the apt's wifi or no wifi at all lol
