So I just went to see Knocked up tonight with my brother and sister... and I was ID'd!! Isn't that crazy? Do I really look 16??? I'm getting married next year!
lol sorry I'm just a little suprised right now, I think the lady was just crazy working there...

and once i got pulled of a casino floor in AC (like 2 months ago)
the guy goes 'so..what are you 21' all sarcastic like...as if i was gonna lie to him.
i said..im 25...and he looked at my id and apologized and i laughed..i said hey it feels good!!! hahaha

I saw knocked up last night too in Farmingdale...and the woman taking tickets was ID'ing all the kids there too...the line took forever!!!

LOL that's funny. How old are you anyway? Was the person at the window young?
I'll be 23 next week... And no, she really wasn't young at all... she was older... i'd say in her 40's or 50's...
So I basically had the same thing happen to me today when I was getting my hair trial done, everyone thought it was for prom! lol...

Yeah it was at the United Artist theater in Farmingdale accross from Airport Plaza... It was funny because my 19 year old sis didn't get ID'd, lol...

Omg no joke, some woman security guard actually chased after me in a casino in AC (I forgot which hotel, I think it might have been Showboat). But I am not exaggerating (sp?) at all - she literally chased me and was all nasty when she asked for my ID. I showed it to her and then she was all sweet and apologized.

Aww- don't feel bad. You definitely look old enough to see a R movie-lol. I used to get mad when I got ID'd, but now I'm like- ohh - thank you, and I get mad when I don't get id'd.
My Mother recently got ID'd at Waldbaums when she bought beer- LOL.. The cashier said she has to ID everyone and my mother said- no, you need to ID everyone who looks under 28. My Mom looks younger than her age, but not 28--lol

i get ID'd for lotto and movies all the time - i always tease FH that people must think i snagged an 'older man'
just as a PSA: please don't be rude to people who ID you. I know in my old job - our manager wanted us to ID anyone under 30 so if he was standing around I had to ID pracitcally everyone and people would be SO MEAN about it - it was horrible. . . PLUS the cops send people in sometimes that LOOK much older but they are actually under age - if you don't ID them usually you lose your job. . . it made me so nervous i IDd everyone! its just their job

I definitely take it as a compliment now!
My favorite is when you go to buy ciggies or alcohol or whatever, and they ASK you how old you are, and leave it at that. Why bother? I'd lie if I was underage anyway!
