yeah i saw that on the news, i think saturday morning and friday night i went out for drinks and had lemon in them so of course i was like then on saturday and sunday went out to dinner both nights and didnt have the lemon with my drinks

I cant believe how gross that is and then I my cousin tells me not to have ice in my drink either. I was afraid to ask

i've always said that lemon wedges have to carry the most germs out of anything in a restaurant and people always looked at me like i was crazy when i refused drinks with them in there. finally, there is proof!

See, this stuff doesn't gross me out or scare me. Maybe cause I was a waitress for years and spent many a shift cutting lemons as part of my sidework. But really it's because things we touch each and every day that we don't even think about and couldn't avoid if we wanted to carry millions of germs, it's life. The only thing you can do to protect yourself really is live in a bubble and who wants to live like that. That said, I saw one of these kinds of stories once on the keypads on ATM machines. Talk about nauseating...that one was gross.
