NWR-I'm going to see U2 tonight!-CONCERT WAS AWESOME!

so jealous!!! you're going to the Meadowlands, right? did you get the tix thru the presale? I am going to see them next Thurs. in Boston. I won't see them in NYC until Oct or Nov...

I got them through Ticketmaster the day they went on sale..I had two computers going, and I could only get 2 tix, and the seats aren't that great....I tried to get tix for more shows, but no luck. I wanted to try for tix for the Oct shows, but I decided to save a little $$, no need to see them 2x this year.

They're going to be awesome in Boston, I'm sure. I will def post a review tomorrow morning!

I got them through Ticketmaster the day they went on sale..I had two computers going, and I could only get 2 tix, and the seats aren't that great....I tried to get tix for more shows, but no luck. did you hear about the whole ticket debacle with fans that subscribed to their website (I was one of them) we were supposed to get first dibs on the best seats at the presale, but something went VERY wrong and most of the good seats (ie the general admission) went to the brokers (can now be seen on ebay)

we ended up with crappy seats for most shows, but with perserverance, managed to snag GA's for 2 shows at the Garden....SO excited about that.

In all, we got tix to 6 shows, but I think we can only go to four....

better than last tour, where FH went to 10!! shows, I 'only' went to 6

You have to see them sometime. their shows are a 'religious experience.' I heard someone on tv say that once, and they are correct!

OMG ladies, the concert was AWESOME! They played all the good songs from the new album, a few from the last one, and plenty of older hits like One, Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday and my absolute favorite Running to Stand Still. (I got such goosebumps when they started playing this!)

They sounded great, the stage was really cool. We didn't sit down once. At one point, they pulled this other unknown band on stage (4 members) and had them play Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with them.

So for anyone going to see U2 this tour, you will not be disappointed!!

Awesome! thanks for the update! I can't wait for NEXT thursday to come around...

I also LOVE Running......I hope they play it at one of my concerts...they don't always.
