FH & I just finished doing laundry & we were coming out of the parking lot & FH went to merge into traffic. WELL, I guess the guy he pulled in front of was not too happy so he flashed his brights & was riding our bumper. FH decided to give him the finger (in the rearview mirror). At that point crazy guy behind us cuts around us & nearly stops short in front of us. We turn down our street & as we're taking laundry out of car, the guy pulls up beside our car. I was petrified. I went up to the stoop & the guy goes off on FH about giving him the finger, etc. etc.
FH said he had a kid in the car.
But FH just left for work & I'm scared the guy is either going to do something to the car or to the house.
I agree FH should not have given the finger, but I was scared to death when the guy pulled up at our house!
you have to be so careful nowadays because of pyschos like that. I understand why FH gave him the finger and must admit I would have as well (kind of like a reaction) but man is that scary.

People get so crazy when they drive!! I don't know what they are thinking - they actually risk people's lives to mess w/ another car. And the fact that he had a kid is the car is crazy. I know it's too late now, but thinking about it I think I would have tried to get the plate number and call ACS - he really put that child in danger and that's too over the edge.

That is really scary. You have to wonder what goes through people's heads sometimes. I mean, what kind of example is the guy setting for the kid? I'm sure you'll be okay!

wow Cindy. I am glad you're ok. what a maniac. hopefully this situation will never happen again, but if it does, or if you EVER see this person near your house again, get the plate number.
my uncle has SERIOUS road rage issues and my worst fear is that he will flip off the wrong person at the wrong time....

Blows my mind how many situations I get into like that with my FH or by myself.
Last year this guy in my development hit my car with his fist as I was driving by because he thought I was driving too fast. I gave him the finger and he motioned for me to come and fight him..all with his son next to him.
Sometimes I wonder if it's a LI thing or it happens everywhere?

Every time either my fiance or I are driving home and we feel that someone is following us (yes, we're paranoid, but better to be safe than sorry) we don't go home right away. We'll do a lap around the block or something, because in today's world - you never know.

Thanks ladies. FH said the same thing...he just wanted to be a tough guy in front of his kid. FH said if he planned on doing something he would have gotten out of his car right then.
FH actually did get his plate!!!!!! We spoke to a few friends that are cops but they said to file a report wouldn't be worth it. It's probably done....

Omg, I'm glad you're ok!! I can't believe he took it that far, esp with a kid in the car, that's insane!! Don't be scared, Ray and this guy had their words, it's over now. Calm down and just try to relax until he gets home from work.
