NWR: Ipod wont play

anyone know how to fix an ipod that wont play. My FH ipod wont play and his warranty is up so unless we pay $30 we cant get any help from apple. anyone ever have this problem before I restored it and that still wont work

It turns on and I can go to a song but it just wont play i can fast forward stop and everything but no music will play. the videos play the games work just cant play any songs

did you back up itunes? Just in case you have to restore it, which is different than resetting it. Also, when you reset it, was it being charged? Sometimes that helps it, too.

I had that happen to me and I just had to reboot. I think it's lock then unlock, then press and hold down the menu and the middle circle. At least that's what it is on mine.

I reset and restored
these things are soooooo annoying my FH is lost without it he works out religously and he had to go to the gym with my ipod and he was gonna cry I swear. such a baby

That happened to my FH and my uncle tried to fix it but then it showed a sad face. So FH just bought another one.

That 's supposed to get it working again. I've done this several times when my IPOD froze
