NWR: Is anyone else going to see Meat Loaf at Jones Beach?

I know, I know. The irony of two vegetarians (Neel and I) seeing a guy named 'Meat Loaf' is not lost on me.

Is anyone else going?

I'm not a big fan, but Neel likes him. I have respect for him though...the man was in Rocky Horror so right there, he's cool forever IMO.

hes still alive?

I knew he was still alive, but didn't know he was still touring...they don't sell booze at Jones Beach so this is gonna be a long concert.

And you have no idea Kris what a long looooong night it will be!!! My sis is the biggest Meat fan ever! (Yes, she's 45 and has been rockin' since h.s.)

She dragged me (or should I say tricked me) the last two summers. Last summer we got $10 tickets!!! Ten dollars for a Jones Beach concert!!!!

He used the mike stand to keep himself from keeling over! Really!!! He looked strangely like a combo of an old crinkly Elton John mixed with a really f'ed up Ozzy Ozbourne...scary scary stuff...

And have you heard his new song where he so eloquently sings, 'I can barely keep my d!ck in my pants'???? A new classic, I'm sure!!!

I saw him a couple of years ago at Westbury. We had front row seats and when I tell you how disgusting it was seeing the sweat poring off of him ... it was so gross. But he still put on a good show but thatwas about 5 years ago
