NWR Is there a way to figure out the price of gold per ounce/gram?

I have some jewelry I'm trying to sell and I wanted to figure out before I go how much its worth? Any suggestions?

I think it's currently trading at $869/oz - it changes everyday

It's funny that you posted this bc I was going to post the same thing. I have this ugly 14K gold necklace that I brought to work today hoping to go to a jeweler to sell it!

I thought it was over $900/ oz. Maybe it went down since last week.

FH went to Budget Buy and Sell in Patchogue this afternoon and took my 2 ounces of various gold pieces and brought me back $620. Not bad for stuff that was just sitting around collecting dust. I guess it is what it is. Glad its over with.

I wouldn't think so, why would they? I guess you could ask around for what % of the value will they pay you for it.
