NWR: Italian Food

Ok... my FH and I are looking for a good Italian spot to eat at tonight. We haven't been out for Italian in a long time because my mom is a good cook...

Any suggestions??

TIA!

Great italian restaurants in Queens

LOVE L'incontro in Astoria, one of my favorites. Usually you need a reservation but maybe since its a wednesday night you wont need one.

Parkside in corona, everyone raves about it

Ponticello-Astoria

Piccolo Venezia-Astoria

I love VESPA. It is located in Great Neck. It's a quaint little restaurant and has that tuscan feel to it inside. FH is 100% Italian (with parents from Italy) and he 'approves' of the food there, hehe.

It is right on Northern Blvd.

I know L'incontro definitely has a site, if you go to their guest gallery you'll see the chef/owner(Rocco) with ppl who have eaten there such as Hillary and bill clinton, Bill Cosby, Julianne Moore, Mario Cuomo, Rocco Dispirito and more. Its pretty well known, even all my moms clients who live in the city come to astoria just to eat there

Forno Italia is a small place in Astoria as well, that makes great brick oven

Sapori D' Ischia in Sunnyside is great and the inside is really nice
