I do not reuse towels meaning after i shower they go right into the wash. I was told this weekend that i am crazy and should be reusing my towels. I know there is nothing wrong with it, i just cant. DH hangs his towel on the towel rack after his showers to reuse it but i swipe them and put them in the laundry and hang a clean one in its place. shhhhhhhh he doesnt know. Is there something wrong with me???

There is nothing wrong with you. I do not do that personally but I have a couple of friends that do. You are not crazy!!!

I prefer fresh towels myself but I rotate because I use one for my body and one to wrap my hair up in. My body towel gets put on the rack to be my hair towel the next time

You are definitely not crazy. FH and I only use a towel one time. We do hang them to dry and use one as our floor towel the next day and then they go in the wash. I personally don't like to reuse a towel.

Mine go direct into the wash but DH hands his over the shower door which makes me nuts so I use it as the 'floor towel' the next day and that's that!

i prefer one time each towel, but it depends on how much i feel like doing laundry...so maybe i'll reuse it once!

i prefer to use it once, but if the towel passes the 'smell' test and is dry the next day, maybe maybe i will use it, lol

I am clean, I dry myself off, hang it up and re-use it. You can use a towel twice before you wash it.

Its drying off a clean body....its not dirty at all just wet

I am clean, I dry myself off, hang it up and re-use it. You can use a towel twice before you wash it.

I used to use a clean towel every time- when I lived with my parents and my mom did all the laundry
Now that DH and I do our own laundry and it costs like 5 bucks a load in our apt, we use our towels as much as possible until we switch for a new one!

Same here.
FH used to put the towel in the laundry after the first use, but I got him to reuse it.....since he's not at home anymore and he has to do his own laundry, hehe.

Personally, I feel like a towel, washcloth, or whatever that has air dried is now just a hive of bacteria, especially if it was folded over to fit on the rack while drying. However clean you get, there's still exfoliated skin on it.

I'm somewhat environmentally concerned, I don't like to waste. Detergent is bad for our waters. Electic is expensive, Water isn't scarce but why waste?
Towel should not be dirty after you use it, unless your not washing well.
I try to reuse at least once, but I like fresh towels from the dryer best. On busy weeks I do go for almost a week on one towel.
Who has time to wash all these towels?

I'm such a dirt merchant - I reuse mine like 3 times...
I live with my in-laws and they use it once then wash (so does DH).
