Any bride out there drive a Jeep Liberty? My FH just leased one.....Any positive experiences? Any negatives?

my good friend has one and has nothing but great things about it. She has had it for a little over a year. She actually was trying to convince my Fh and I to get one.

I had a 2003 Limited Liberty..and i hate to say it was the worst made car i've ever owned...it was in the dealer 3 times for transmission problems 3 months after i got it(and i bought it brand new!)...the passenger's window would make this horrible noise now & then when you put it down and the trim on the drivers window was always coming off... the gas mileage was 19 on the highway...and the routine maintenance costs were ridiculous! they claimed it was because it was a 4x4..but FH has a Toyota 4Runner & my folks have a Ford Explorer and never paid anything near what i did....i loved the way the car drove, handled in snow & looked...but will never buy a Jeep product again...sorry...that was just my personal experience with it..i know it is a Consumer reports best pick which was why i bought it...i now drive a Toyota Matrix hatchback with allwheel drive..gets 30mpg
