I did it about two years ago and lost like 20lbs.

Pros:
-They plan all the food with you--it's mindless, you don't have to worry about what to make so if you are a busy person it could be good
-You meet with someone one on one as oppossed to WW where you are in a group

Cons:
-it can get very $$$
-I am very picky and after awhile I had no interest in same frozen foods over and over again
-I'm not sure how good it is to only really eat frozen meals

Good luck! I recenlty switched over to WW (2 weeks ago) so we will see how it goes!

I did in 2005. Lost maybe 12 lbs before I started to get sick. I followed the program EXACTLY. Ate the foods prescribed and I was getting headaches and feeling very moody and tired at different intervals. I also went to the gym 1-2x a week (moderate workouts).

As noted above, the pros are that you dont have to think. You just eat the foods at the time they tell you to eat. The foods are pretty tasty.

The downside is that because you buy food on a weekly basis (I spent anywhere from $100-125/week on their pre-packaged frozen food and snacks), is that if you eat out at restaurants, you are spending a lot of time calculating portions and calories. I had to stop going out on weekends because it was such a pain to figure out what to eat and what not to eat under the Jenny Craig plan.

For those reasons, I got off the Plan and later on switched to Weight Watchers which I think is the better plan of the two.

Hope this helps.

I'm on it and LOVE it!! I started in May 2009 and lost 30 lbs pretty quickly. I still want to lose another 10, but need to actually exercise to lose that.

It's really good for someone who needs structure. WW didnt work for me...too easy to screw it up.

I think the food is really good. It is pricey, but worth it for me

i was on it.. lost 30 pounds.. when i went off it i gained it all back. so basically its not the best diet in the long run.. it portions the food out for you and the food is really good.. but once you go off its very easy to gain the weight back cause it doesnt show you how to portion out the food like you should cause its already planned for you.. Its a good quick fix though.. weight watchers seems better to maintain after you lose if that makes sense:)
