I just got back from a weeks vacation in Florida and I am hating the fact that I have to go back to my miserable job tomorrow. Right now I live in Westchester and need to move to LI soon.....I can't stand my job and FH and I need our own place. I have a feeling just stepping into my job tomorrow is going to push me to write my two week notice and hand it in. Job searching stresses me out though. I have been looking online all night and have email sent to me all the time from Monster.
Any suggestions or where I can look. I have a degree and many years of experience that I need to finally put to work and be appreciated.

What do you do? Have you tried Hot Jobs and Craigslist?

Re: NWR: Job Hunt
I have my degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management. Right now I do customer service and assist the Controller while supervise and train new employees. I work for a very small company so I really don't have one specific title or position....I tend to be the person everyone depends on and I hate it. I need a more substantial position and obviously something closer to FH so the commuting can stop. I have tried all of the different job sites. I know I can't be picky but the one thing I will not do is go for less pay and I need benefits....which a lot of jobs do not offer.

Are you going to be in Suffolk because you really may want to consider Manhattan. There is a lot more there than on LI and the pay is better.

Yeah we have to live in Suffolk because FH works for Suffolk County. I used to work in the city and hated it. I can't do the train commute every day..I did it for a few years and couldnt do it anymore. Drove me nuts.
I was thinking of looking in Melville and other business areas.
