You can try hotjobs.com and careerbuilder.com. Also, see if you can figure out what the local newspaper down there is and sometimes even though you live out of state you can subscribe to it and they will send it to you. Not all publications so this but some do so it's worth looking into. Do you know anyone that lives in that area that can send you the local papers?

Re: NWR - Job Search... Any ideas?
all the other suggestions are great. the only other one that i'd suggest is to actually call down to the area and have a few of the local papers actually send you their papers... a lot of times, the online postings on the newspaper websites aren't quite the same as the ones actually printed in the papers. especially on the very local level. (if you can't get the actually newspapers to send you then, you can subscribe to out of state papers, and you can also, if you know someone down there, get them to mail them to you. and finally, if you can locate actual companies you're interested (maybe be doing some online research) you can call their HR dept and submit resumes and see who's hiring. this is what a friend of mine did to get a job in TX. Good Luck Whitney!! :o) GA is beautiful!

Getting a subscription is a good idea! I don't know why I didn't think of it! I looked online and they sent me to monster... haha. I don't know anyone there, but I can call the paper. Thanks!

I've seen a few girls suggest craigslist... has anyone tried this? is it legit? I just dont want to move all the way to GA to find out the company I work for is some creepy child molestor living in his mama's basement.
Did you try Craigs List? Maybe find a local paper down there that you can access online.

You might also want to start researching HR headhunters down there. Send in your resume now to them so you can start the interviewing process sooner than later, but be ready to fly back and forth to interview. You have just enough experience that headhunters will be interested. They usually have all the good jobs.
Also research what big or interesting companies are in that area and start looking on their websites for openings to apply for. Also, don't be affraid to send in your resume to a company you are interested in, if there is no posting listed for you. Sometimes there is need and they will hold off on posting to save $$$, but if the right candidate comes along they will fill the position. In this economy, you need to take chances and make your resume and cover letters stand out. Good luck!
