Some of my coworkers are doing it. I have a softball game.

i did it that year and it poured right after i crossed the finish line. so glad i was done running.

My company did not supply any food like other companies did they only gave us water after a long day at work. It was pouring the entire time and i was sooo sick..so never again lol

I went. Didn't do the challenge but my company had a softball game before and all of us players were invited to come into the tent.

it is much better if your company pays for a higher sponsorship. You get a tent with food. Our also had alcohol. Some of the other tents had tables and chairs and real food like sandwiches (we had fruit and chips)

I'm doing it tomorrow and its supposed to rain all day. It also says thunderstorms around 6pm. Looks like you're ok for today. Have fun! Is it your first time?

oh man, yea the weather is supposed to be bad. i did it two years ago (was on vacation last year so i missed it) and i ran and as i was walking back to our table it was pouring and all the people that were behind me had to finish the race in the pouring rain i felt so bad!!

we didnt have a tent, just a table in the blue section. and we had boxed meals, waters, fruit and fruit bars, which we ate afterwards cause i cant eat before i run.

That was when the economy was good imagine now and plus they are cutting back on everything so they might not even give out water this year lol!!

No, its not. I did it last year and it was crowded, but fun. It kinda got me into running and I did two more 5k's last year.

We got an email today that if there are thunderstorms, they are canceling it. I'm lucky though, we got a tent, yummy food, water, gatorade. They even have salmon dinner for us afterwards! Still, at this point I hope it doesn't rain. It'll be a miserable commute home on the LIRR
