NWR - Just got invisalign braces and was wondering...

NWR - Just got invisalign braces and was wondering...

how to clean the braces. I received the box with the cases and cleaning instructions but wanted to see if the girls that have them brush them or just rinse them with water. And do you brush your teeth after every meal or just do a rinse. It will be a pain to do this at work but it'll be worth it in the end.

Def brush after every meal and before I put them back in, I brush the invisalign gently with toothpaste and water...

Ok, good to know. I rinsed my mouth out and rinsed the braces before and after. I will have to bring a tooth brush/paste to work.

I just clean it with toothpaste and a toothbrush.. seems to work well enough

good luck with them.. i love them!!! just went and got my next 2 sets today!

Does the pain go away after a day or so? I just got my first set this morning. Plus I had a tough time getting them out. My nails are weak so it was hard to pull them but I got it.

Yes, it goes away after one day - anything more than that maybe you should ask your dentist about it...

You'll get used to pulling them out, use your tongue for leverage seriously.

the pain doesnt last long a day maybe at most and i find when i take them out the pain is gone.

I have 3 brackets attached to my teeth, my set for some reason called for it, i thought it was going to be a pain its not that bad you cant see them but it can be hard to get out. you get used to it

It's been 7 hours and it's tolerable but I was worried it may hurt for more than a day or so.

Did any of you need to get any of your teeth shaved down for more space for your teeth to move? I have to have a couple shaved in between at my next visit.

I also got my first set today! I had to get a few on the bottom shaved down. It wasn't so bad just a lot of pressure.
