NWR- Just need your prayers<3

Hey Ladies,

Just need your prayers. My grandma who was supposed to be my flower girl next year for my wedding does not have much time with us.. we are playing every day by ear but I'm going to be so devestated to know she was so excited to be my flower girl, but I know in my heart she won't make it for my wedding.

Just need your positive thoughts and prayers. If she dosen't make it, do you think it would be OK to not have a flower girl at all? I have no small girls in my family.

I think its perfectly ok to not have a flower girl. We don't have any younger female siblings or nieces in our family and we didn't want to try to make something fit that just didn't work for us.

aw I'm so sorry to hear! I know exactly what ur feeling.. my grandmother passed 10 days after we got engaged! she wanted nothing more then to c me get married! my hat gotta put to u and your family.
absolutely it's ok to not have a flower girl btw! especially in your case no one can replace grandma and I don't think u should.

And it's totally fine not to have a flower girl. We're not having one, I've been to plenty of weddings that haven't had one.

And its perfectly fine to not have a flower girl - or a ring bearer for that matter. The FH and I aren't having either - other than the FHs two teenage nephews and 10 year old niece, this entire shindig is an adults-only affair

I know exactly what your going through. My grandma passed away in April and I was devastated. I got throug by telling myself that she could at least enjoy seeing me get married while sitting with my grandfather in heaven.

I didnt have a flower girl either. We have no young girls in our families either.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this difficult time.

I'm so sorry! You will definitely be in my thoughts. I definitely think its ok to not have a flower girl. Maybe you could do something special in her honor when she would have walked down.

I know how your feeling I lost my Nana in June & I miss her so much every passing day. I already thought of a few things to do so I feel she is closer to me on my wedding day. Sending prayers your way. Totally sucks. And no I dont think you need a flower girl at all. God Forbid anything happens, maybe you can have a bouquet on a chair just for her. But dont think that way, stay positive!!

And to answer your question, it is absolutely 100% okay to not have a flower girl. Not everyone does.

Im so sorry keeping you and your grandma in my prayers, and I fully understand my grandmother is a main reason why we are having a wedding in the first place, and she has been in and of hospital this year, and is now having surgery the 26th of this month. So every day that goes by I pray she will be able to attend my wedding.
