NWR: Just Quit Smoking

Today I quit smoking because I want to be healthier and I think it's disgusting. Feeling a little discombobulated!

I quit like a year ago and lasted 10 months and then went back for like 2 months and I hate it but I am feeling all out of sorts like I don't know what to do with myself

It's a very hard thing to do. FH has tried numerous times but nothing has worked. just try and stay focused on the end result - being healthy! Good luck!

Re: NWR: Just Quit Smoking

I tried to quit nov 15... I ended up now only smoking on weekends (and only about 3 a day) which is a big thing for me seeing as how i used to smoke a pack a say... but FH is on the chantix and i m doing this cold turkey...
hopefully by the end of Jan I can kick the weekend thing!

but KEEP AT IT! I am right there with you... you can be my role model for totally kicking it!

you can do it!

good luck! if you feel like your going to fall of the wagon, try to remember why you chose to quit in the first place. let everyone know about your decision, the larger your support group, the easier it will be!

Good for you!! The first three weeks are the hardest but it's sooo worth it after!!

WhenI really wanted one I would count how long the craving would last, and it went from minutes to seconds after a few weeks, then gradually I started realizing I wasn't counting b/c I barely ever got a craving anymore!

It's amazing how much more you can SMELL after a while! lol

GOOD LUCK and if you happen to end up having one here and there don't let that stop you from trying again!

We're all here for you! You can DO it!!

Congratulations and Good Luck! March 2nd will be my 1 year!!!! The first few weeks are very difficult, but stick it though! You'll feel 100x better!

Also, I kept a ton of sugar free candies with me for when I have cravings
