I can't believe this......my fmil who i am so close with.,...has lung cancer in the extensive stage.........my mom has been mine and fh's rock through this.....and now i found out her pap smear came back abnormal..she went for another one..and i'm on pins and needles because i can't imaginee both of our mother's having cancer..it's just doesn't seem real.........i'm probably freaking out for nothing but even the thought of it makes me so sick.......

I just lost my grandmother to ovarian cancer this october..i don't get what's going on that everytime i turn around someone is diagnosed with cancer....everyone i talk to is going through something similar..it's horrible..

im sorry to bring anyone down...i know a lot of you are going through the same thing & i'm sorry to bring it up -- but you're all in my prayers...<3

Believe it or not, an abnormal pap is much more common than you probably think. I had one once and had to have a colposcapy. Thank g-d, everything was fine. If your mother goes routinely, then even if something comes back showing signs of cancer, it's likely to be in the very early stages. Hang in there and good luck.
