NWR - Just remembered something funny I have to share

So, when I first joined, I had no idea what all the terminology meant.....

I remember seeing some of Espo's posts, specifically about halls, and her e-party.

So, I kept saying to myself, 'Who is this guy and why does he keep talking about his e-party??? Who cares???'

(Then I realized he was a she, and what an e-party was. I seriously thought it had to do with the drug E, and I thought he(she) was insane).

I'm laughing right now even thinking about what an idiot I am.

Just thought I'd share.

My FH just peeked over at the computer when I was on here the other day and he saw that some topic said STD in the title and he was like, 'What kind of website is that? The girls just openly talk about their STD's???'
I couldnt stop laughing!! Its a very unfortunate abreviation.

I still see STD and think disease.... I find it hard to get adjusted to that one!!!!!

I cant even remember when I started deciphering everything... I stalked for wayyyy too long that when I could finally post, I felt like I had known these boards for years I have no life.......

- I still dont like typing STD- it seems so strange...lol

I typed an e-mail to my FMIL the other day about a bridesmaid and I put BM...

she writes back..ummm what are you trying to tell me...lol

I sent my STD pics to my family with the subject line STD...they ALL responded questioning...LOL


That is so funny Amanda...It took me forever too...like BOTW...GTG...even FH...now I have a hard time not saying FH out loud when talking about Steven...LOL

STDs still makes me chuckle everytime i see it on a topic

it took me a loooooonngg time to figure out what GTG meant. it drove me crazy.

I couldn't figure out why everyone wanted to increase their posts either!

Now I only have about 400 to go until I can change my header and get my t-shirt!!
