NWR - LA

I am heading to LA for the weekend. Any suggestions on how to spend the two days I have there. I have never been to LA before and I will have a car there.

ahhhh i am SO JEALOUS!!!!!
I had so much fun in LA!

definitely hit rodeo drive (even if just to look).

the highlands mall in hollywood is cute for shopping and eating. there's a cute store called BLACKJACK that has really nice and inexpensive clothes.

If ur planning to go clubbing: Opera, Area and Crest are cool.

If you can, make a trip to Santa Monica! It's about 20 minutes from Hollywood area...it's gorgeous. There's great shopping...there's a great restaurant on the Pier called the Lobster. It's just beautiful...enjoy!!!!!!

Ok so it sounds like santa monica and rodeo drive are the musts (although I doubt I will be doing more than window shopping).

i def recommend you see the strip. there are a bunch of cool bars there. we ate sushi at miagi's and had drinks at chateau marmont--both really cool. we also went shopping on melrose, which is i guess the closest thing to the village vibe. i also liked the promenade in santa monica, where they have a lot of street entertainers. have fun!

ETA: how could i have forgotten malibu? best sunsets in LA i think and zuma beach is pretty, so def take a drive up there along PCH around dusk

Disneyland isn't too far from LA...you could go to Downtown Disney. It's free and it's seriously like a little downtown area with tons of cool shops, restaurants, etc.
