I feel like saying F&ck the money and start over when the time comes, but I hear my mother in the back of my head saying' thats the dress for you'. I dont even know how to think, I just want to get on with my life and fjucked up as it is

I think that, when the time comes, you are going to not want any ties to this old relationship. Least of all the dress you chose for that man.
That's what I think.
Plus, you may be a total different person at that point, with different taste, style, and personality. that dress is you now.

I will lend you my dress when the time comes. It was HAWT.

wait, I guess you called your wedding off.

in that case, sell it.

you will NOT want to wear it again. that's a guarantee.

no offense, but I would say Fck what your mom say....and I mean that in the nicest and most respectful way.

I wouldn't bother preserving it...it really doesn't have a sentimental value to you but rather it is an unpleasant memory...get rid of it and when the right time comes you'll get a new one...fashion and tastes change...if I was getting married again or decided not to get married last year after purchasign the dress, I would definitely wear a different dress now...

Ladies thanks so much! Its the right thing to do, sell it! Chop it up maybe I will just wear it that day, glipse out the window do my hair. have the limo pick me up, take pictures with my dad, party with friends puke on the dress and get rid of it.

I will post a review on the review board, that would be a classic, Oh, lallalal my gorgeous wedding, sell the video on youtube and make all the money back to buy a new dress one day. Brilliant.

Yeah, it's pretty much a fact that NO ONE answers the gown preservation posts because none of us ever get around to doing it.

My gown is sitting neatly in a closet at my parents house.

I might get it preserved next year.
