Hey girls! I really need a new laptop and i figured black friday/cyber monday would be the best time to buy one. I have to buy it online since i'm working this entire week (includin the weekend). I was hoping someone could FM if they come across a good deal. I dont need anything special, just a basic laptop with microsoft word/excel/powerpoint and internet.

I think Best Buy or Target has the Sony Vaio for $400. It's better to go for the ones around 400-500 because they are usually the ones that go for $1000 +

lol i hate my schedule too...despite the fact that my ER rotations have the best schedules out of all the other specialities i do this year. OBGYN was the worst, like 86 hour weeks....and i do ICU next and word on the street its exactly like OBGYN when it comes to the fact that you LIVE at the hospital! *sign* residency needs to be over!

Newegg.com has great deals all the time I got my mom one last week for $350 its a Toshiba but has great specs memory and whatnot.

lol, not a fan of Macs. I never really got the hang of them. All my laptops have been HPs, but they are pricey! I have my little HP notebook, but it doesnt have word, excel or powerpoint...which i NEED for work!

Even with a new computer, they make you pay for Microsoft office. I paid like $100 for the student edition, which seems to have everything you need.
