NWR - Lasik eye surgery

i just posted on the NWR board,
has anyone had this done?
how much does it cost?
can you recommend any doctors?

I had it done about 15 months ago, and it was the best thing I ever did!!! Within 5 hours, I was 20/20 - - and I had worn glasses for about 20 years!

Cost $4,000 - but you can finance it at 0% interest for a year. I'd VERY highly recommend my doctor: Dr. Richard Nattis of Lindenhurst Eye Physicians and Surgeons (631) 957-3355.

The procedure was virtually painless - and I was fully recovered in a few weeks. It was really amazing! Now, when I see pictures of myself with glasses on, I just laugh. It was so easy, I don't know why anybody wouldn't do it.

There are precautions - and Dr. Nattis will fully examine you to make sure that you're a good candidate.

I had it in October and it is by far the BEST thing I have ever done. Dr. Kelly of Kelly Laser Center was amazing. I was so scared and he really put me at ease. I am now seeing 20/15 and have had no lasting side effects. My surgery was $2900. There was a little discomfort in the first couple hours but nothing that an Alleve cound't handle. Your eyes are very sensitive to light fo r a little bit. My fiance and I did it the same day and by 7:00 at night he was driving to the store. I did have blood capillaries break(very common) so don't plan to do it before you have something important to do. It took almost two weeks to go away but I could see amazingly. FH is going at the end of this month for it. He is so excited! He's paying $3000 and financed it over the course of 2 years for 0% APR. FM for more info if you're interested.
