Hey everyone, Let's NETWORK!!!!
Since we're all on here, like all day long, and we know so much much about so many different industries, etc....i figured...let's all network, we've never know when us Ladies could use the upper hand with getting ahead.

So, I'll start...everyone join in :)

I do Major Account Sales for Windows in Commercial projects primarily in NYC, Brooklyn, Long Island.

What does everyone else do??

I'm a 3rd Year Law Student - aka I'm looking for a full time job for after the bar exam if there are any hiring attorneys out there!!!!

FH is the Manager of the Art Studio in a major ad agency in NYC. They do the Aflac commercials, continental airlines ads, herbal essences, revlon, zoloft, etc.

if i were you i'd be harassing FH for a job in the legal dept where he works...sounds like a fun job!

I'm a special education teacher coach (its liek a staff developer)....BUT as of August 27th I will be the interim acting assistant principal of my school with the possibility of getting hired permanently within a month

Damn thats awesome! We're a state school so I'm limited to 2 classes per semester. I should branch out to other schools but im lazy!

That does stink!! Yeah the school i'm at is private and a majority of the faculty is adjunct.

Of course!! B/c then they dont have to pay for benefits!!!

FH works for Viacom and would really LOVE to get a job there. I told him to go for it, I don't think i'd mind moving to CT that much.

Haha - they are owned by a larger parent company (Publicis) and any legal dep't they have would be with that company. Not only does he not have any direct contacts, but if they knew we were getting married, they wouldn't hire me!! His brother got an internship with one of the other companies and it took them two summers to realize it, but once they did they terminated him (the younger brother) the same day!

What department at Pace? And which Pace, I guess I should ask—downtown or Pleasantville? I used to go there, and I worked in the English Department for a while. To date, my favorite job!

Im 25 yrs old. Im the assistant to the executive producer for the Rachael Ray Show. It is a CBS/Kingworld Production so I have contact with L.A. and NY.

It is fun, exciting and a bit hectic but I love it. It is the stepping stone bc I want to be a video editor....

FH works for the DSNY (hes a garbage man!)
and he works for ACH in the Airport...an air/cargo warehouse (mainly books)

I'm a stay at home fiance. I work mainly in the domstic field. I specialize in cleaning and cooking.

(I.E. I don't have a job right now, I'm a NY certified English teacher, not PA certified yet...)

FH is a an attorney, he works in civil litigation for one of Philly's largest firms. They have a NY office too, but, he's not barred in NY. Boo.

yes when he first moved there we were so excited and were going to camp out to see if we see anyone...LMAO meanwhile its a corporate office

I'm a sales assistant at a large printing company in NYC (we printed the last Harry Potter book and the Vanity Fair with the first pics of Suri Cruise... just to name a few).

FH works for Geico. If you get hurt in an accident, he's the one who's going to determine how much your injuries are worth. Any insurance questions, ask me and I'll pass them along... he knows it all.
