NWR-LONDON BOMBINGS

OMG--did u hear aboout this---this is horrible. Do I remember a bride recently saying she was on her way to her honeymoon in London?? I hpe not...: :

It is horrible. I have been watching this all morning and it is so sad the injuries and death toll keep going up. It is very sad, Londoners are so nice and it is such a great city.

theres an 05 bride who just got married last weekend on her honeymmon in London

I know they are saying it is AlQuaida related but does anyone else think it is not a coincidence that London just won the Olympic bid yesterday?

God, it looks so aweful..what a terrible day...I hope that she's ok....i hope the death toll stops going up....

There wouldn't have been enough time to gather the people and resources - it's more in response to the G8 meeting.

Whomever is responsible, this is just awful. My heart goes out to the people in London. I love that city; it is so great.

Please also remember that there are also people here on LIW who have family and friends there. I have aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who work in London who i've been trying to get ahold of all morning and haven't heard anything from yet. I can't even concentrate on work or anything until i hear from them. This is horrible. After living through the hell of 9/11 this brings it all back for me.

Just an FYI- my aunt lives/works in London. I tried to contact her this morning, and then sent her an email b/c I was in class. She got back to me a few hours later letting me know she was okay....but it took her a REALLY LONG TIME to get home (which isn't that far) b/c all of the transportation is shut down. Hopefully you will hear from them soon...I'm sure they're just trying to get home.
