All my favorite shows from last year have been canceled so, I am trying to get into Lost by watching the episodes on abc.com. Can someone give me a very generic synopsis of what has happened so far? What is dharma? Who are the others? What is the deal with Kate/Sawyer/Jack?

I'm not a huge fan, but I watch it every once in a while. I thought the season finale was good! Loving the George/Izzie drama.
My fav's right now are Heroes, Big Love, Supernatural, Scrubs, The Office
Oh and I also watched The OC which was also canceled.

I love me some Heroes! I had never gotten into the OC but I heard when they killed Mischa Barton off, it went downhill.
I went the One Tree Hill route. Its so cheesy but I love it! Im an Office fan too. And I was also a Supernatural fan but it ended up conflicting with another show on my DVR so I had to give it up

you have to watch it from the beginning! it's to hard to explain. it's the best show. that's how I got into lost. all my favorite shows were canceled. that 70s show, the oc, sopranos (it was on at the time but ending in a year) sex & the city. now I just have lost. run out and buy 1st and 2nd season. or rent them.

Heroes is awesome! Im so bad at explaining things and Ill end up on some tangent that makes no sense so check out the wikipedia entry on it...

Lost is sooo complicated. You will probably even miss things if you watch it 4 tims over...lol
I missed the first 2 seasons (i thing), but got caught up on the recaps. See if abc.com has the recap shows.
I heard they were going to FF VM too to the FBI academy and make it more of a crime drama. Who knows. CW keeps cancelling the good shows and putting things like that new alien comedy show

Sorry fellow VM fan, but it is dead in the water. Jason DOhring is going to be on CBS' new drama Moonlight and Kristen Bell is the voice of the new series Gossip Girl.
